According to the deputy minister of Information and Communications, Tran Duc Lai, Vietnam has successfully implemented its policy to bring telecommunication services to all people nationwide.

With information technology and communication development, more people will have the chance to access the internet, Lai said.

Vietnam has made efforts in developing its telecommunication network and services, becoming one of the world’s fastest nations in telecom development. The country currently has 58 million phone subscribers, equating to 67 telephones for every 100 people in the country. There are 20 million internet users.

International participants shared their experiences in developing and providing public telecommunication services.
