CAFS Fire Trucks to be used in Ho Chi Minh City |

On July 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Department in association with the Morita Group organized the testing of fire trucks and their systems with high-end CAFS (compressed air foam systems). The Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee was present during the testing.

The CAFS fire truck will be more economical in the use of foam and it uses less water during a fire emergency. With the goals of improving fire fighter safety, reducing property damage and dramatically reducing response time, CAFS is an innovative technology for the fire department and it has been used in many developed countries worldwide. As planned, the HCMC Fire Department will equip all fire trucks with CAFS. Source: SGGP
