SaigonTel to build Cu Chi science park |

Saigon Telecommunication and Technology Corp (SaigonTel) has received an investment certificate to develop an industrial park in the city’s Cu Chi District.

The HCM City Export Processing and Industrial Park Authority awarded the certificate on July 1. The 20ha A healthcare centre and green space will cover 4,000 sq.m, according to Dang Thanh Tam, chairman of Saigon Invest Group (SGI), the parent of SaigonTel. The park will require an investment of 400 billion VND (23 million USD). The workshops will meet requirements for hi-tech projects in areas including IT and Telecommunications. It will have an hygienic indoor environment and water supply system as well as a power generation system that will automatically become operational during blackouts. Tam expects the facilities to attract foreign investors who will rent or buy in the park.
